The Spurs came within minutes of clinching the title in Game 6, but a late Heat run capped by a Ray Allen three sent the game to overtime, where the Heat won narrowly. The Heat would go on to win Game 7 narrowly and clinch their second straight title.

The arena air was thick enough to choke on, a suffocating mix of humidity and panic as the clock wound down in regulation.
