The Color of Money
Fast Eddie Felson returns to the pool halls with Tom Cruise in tow.
The Color of Money is a 1986 sports drama directed by Martin Scorsese and the sequel to the 1961 film The Hustler; like it, it is based on a novel by Walter Tevis. Paul Newman returns as "Fast Eddie" Felson, a role that won him the Academy Award for Best Actor.
Tom Cruise plays a young pool hustler and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio his girlfriend, as the three work the pool halls on the way to a nine-ball tournament in Atlantic City.
