East Stand
A modern all-seater stand whose original 1890s structure was rebuilt with terraces in the 1960s and then completely rebuilt in the 1990s.
The East Stand is one of the four stands at Old Trafford, the home ground of Manchester United. The original East Stand was built in the 1890s, rebuilt with standing terraces in the 1960s, and then completely rebuilt as an all-seater stand in the 1990s, with further expansions in the 2000s.

Reader's Guide
The East Stand is located on the east side of the stadium. It is not at the south-east corner. The stand has been expanded with extra tiers, contributing to the stadium's capacity increase from roughly 44,000 in 1993 to nearly 80,000 by 2006.
