English football manager who led Manchester City in the 1890s.

Joshua Parlby was born in 1855 in Longton, Staffordshire. He managed Manchester City in the 1890s, becoming the club's first paid secretary in 1893. He played a key role in reforming Ardwick as Manchester City in 1894.
