Ravenswood (TV series)

Ravenswood is a supernatural teen drama mystery-thriller series from the United States, created by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, and Joseph Dougherty. It aired on ABC Family from October 22, 2013, to February 4, 2014, marking the first spin-off of *Pretty Little Liars* and the second installment in that franchise. The network canceled the show on February 14, 2014, citing poor ratings after a single season.

The story unfolds in the fictional town of Ravenswood, Pennsylvania, where five strangers are drawn together by a generations-old curse that has haunted the community. To break it, they must uncover the town’s dark history.

The main cast includes Nicole Gale Anderson as Miranda Collins, who meets Caleb on a bus to Ravenswood while searching for her uncle, Raymond Collins; Tyler Blackburn as Caleb Rivers, who travels to Ravenswood to help his girlfriend, Hanna Marin, and discovers a tombstone with his own name and picture; Steven Cabral as Raymond Collins, Miranda’s uncle and a funeral home director; Brett Dier as Luke Matheson, Olivia’s twin brother and Remy’s boyfriend; Britne Oldford as Remy Beaumont, a *Ravenswood Gazette* employee who first theorizes about the curse; and Merritt Patterson as Olivia Matheson, Luke’s twin sister. Anderson and Blackburn also portray the 1910s versions of their characters in flashbacks.

Recurring roles include Luke Benward as Dillon Sanders, Olivia’s ex-boyfriend; Meg Foster as Carla Grunwald, a resident with paranormal abilities who can see ghosts while sleeping; Henry Simmons as Simon Beaumont, Remy’s distrustful father; Sophina Brown as Terry Beaumont, Remy’s mother struggling with survivor’s guilt after military deployment; Haley Lu Richardson as Tess Hamilton, Olivia’s former best friend; Laura Allen as Rochelle Matheson, Luke and Olivia’s mother and a suspect in her husband’s murder; Justin Bruening as Benjamin Price, a high school teacher; Jay Huguley as Police Chief Tom Beddington; Corrina Roshea as the Edwardian ghost; Mary Elise Hayden as Bea Hamilton, Carla’s deceased mother; and Griff Furst as Gabriel Abaddon.

Guest stars include Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin, Caleb’s ex-girlfriend, reprising her *Pretty Little Liars* role, and Bernard Curry as Jamie Doyle, Caleb’s father—a character original to *Ravenswood*, not previously seen in *Pretty Little Liars*.
