Mia and Me centers on Mia Marconi, a kind-hearted 12-year-old who, after her parents' death, receives a magical book called The Legend of Centopia, created by her father. When she reads a special password, she travels to Centopia, where she becomes a winged elf who can talk to unicorns. She befriends the elf warrior Yuko and the elven prince Mo. In the first season, they must find the pieces of the trumptus, a magic instrument, to defeat the evil queen Panthea and her dark elf army, the Munculus. A winged unicorn named Onchao is born, whose powers can restore the land. In season two, Mia spends summer at her grandfather's farm and faces the circus director Rixel, who works for Lord Drakon. Violetta, a bully from school, discovers Mia's secret after finding a piece of the magical trumptus and becomes an ally as the elf Varia. Season three introduces Onchao's sister Kyara and new villains Gargona and Dax, who seek to revive Lord Drakon. Mia's blind friend Sara also travels to Centopia, where she can see. The feature film, The Hero of Centopia, pits Mia and friends against the evil toad Toxor. Season four involves finding ingredients for a Potion of Unity to stop the merging continent Dystopia.
