Star Compass
Riko's relic that always points down into the Abyss.
The Star Compass is a relic Riko took from the first layer and kept at the Belchero Orphanage instead of handing it in for appraisal. It is a pale blue, transparent orb ringed with metal whose inner structure stays fixed however it is turned, and Riko believes it points to the bottom of the Abyss.
Background
She hoped to use it on her descent, but it slipped from her hand in the first layer and has not been seen since. Long ago Vueko, one of the Sages of Ganja, used it to guide their voyage to the Abyss, and she observed that it always pointed toward the pit, supporting Riko's theory.
