Reader's Guide
Ted makes an expensive presentation to Honda after Don tricks him, which backfires because Honda's rules banned finished work. In Season 5 Ted hires Peggy Olson away from SCDP as chief copywriter. In Season 6 he presses her for what she knows about Heinz Ketchup, though Heinz goes to a larger firm.
After learning that Frank Gleason, one of the partners, has cancer, Ted meets Don at a bar; both agencies are too small to win Chevrolet, and Don proposes combining them. In "For Immediate Release" the two firms merge, and the merged agency becomes Sterling Cooper & Partners.
