Earls Court Exhibition Centre
The London arena where Led Zeppelin played five sold-out shows in May 1975.
Earls Court Exhibition Centre was a large exhibition and events venue in west London, built between 1935 and 1937 and demolished after it closed in 2014. Besides trade fairs and shows, it was one of the most popular concert arenas in the UK, holding around 19,000 people.
Led Zeppelin played five sold-out nights there in May 1975, after their 1975 North American tour. At those shows the band revived an acoustic section of their set, which they kept for the 1977 tour of North America. The last two nights were professionally filmed, though the footage has only circulated on bootlegs.
