A tribe of red-eyed, pose-striking mages from the Crimson Demon Village.
The Crimson Demons are a tribe of mages who live in the Crimson Demon Village. Despite the name they are humans: every one of them has red eyes that glow when they get excited, and each is born with a bar-code mark somewhere on the body because the clan began as artificially modified people. Megumin and Yunyun both come from this tribe.

Background
The whole tribe is chuunibyou: they pick grand names, rehearse signature poses and catchphrases, introduce themselves with a speech, and love to call themselves the foremost at something. Many of them barely work at all. The tribe was created by the same maker who built the Destroyer, as a prize enhancement handed out by a gacha machine in an old research laboratory. Their talent for magic is so strong that the Devil King's army has repeatedly failed to take their village.
