In the anime Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, Tiff and Tuff have lived in the castle their whole lives because of their parents' wealth, as Tiff is the daughter of the Cabinet Minister. The castle serves as the base for King Dedede and his assistant Escargoon, who often plot against Kirby using monsters purchased from NightMare Enterprises.
