Guardians of Light

The seven Guardians of Light are the Keyblade wielders Master Xehanort expected to face his thirteen Seekers of Darkness, the new Organization XIII formed from his own incarnations and vessels. Dream Drop Distance presents this as a contingency to his earlier plan, and Yen Sid trains Kairi and Lea as two possible guardians. In Kingdom Hearts III, Yen Sid prepares seven Keyblade wielders as guardians of light to counter Xehanort's attempt to forge the χ-blade, while Sora, Donald Duck, Goofy, King Mickey and Riku search for the seven guardians to stop a second Keyblade War.
