History
Tetra-Fang was formed in 2008 as a promotional band for Kamen Rider Kiva, composing music in a rock style with a rotating line-up of members for each single. Koji Seto, who portrays Wataru Kurenai in the series, served as Koji, the lead vocalist for the singles "Destiny's Play" and "Individual-System". "Destiny's Play" was released on April 23, 2008, with a DVD containing a music video, and ranked 25th on the Japanese Oricon Weekly Single's Charts in its first week. "Individual-System" followed on June 25, 2008, as the second ending theme for Kamen Rider Kiva. An arrangement titled "Fight for Justice: Individual-System Nago Ver." featuring Keisuke Kato on vocals was released on July 30, 2008. On August 6, 2008, the mini-album Supernova was released, named after the song used as Emperor Form's theme, and included character songs for Garulu, Basshaa, and Dogga. In early December, the band released their first and only fully original album, Destiny, containing character songs by previous tokusatsu songwriters Ryo and Shuhei Naruse, along with earlier tracks. Another album, Inherited System, released in December, featured character songs sung by actors who used the IXA System, including two Tetra-Fang songs. The group officially disbanded after Kamen Rider Kiva completed its broadcasting, but keyboardist Shuhei and guitarist Ayano continued involvement in the franchise's music. They reunited for Kamen Rider Decade, producing three albums of cover versions of previous Kamen Rider theme songs, with Shuhei arranging and Ayano on guitar, and have since continued composing and performing for various series.
