Prison Realm
The special grade cursed object that sealed the strongest sorcerer on Halloween night in Shibuya.
The Prison Realm is a special grade cursed object, the box used to seal Satoru Gojo. In the narrative, this artifact served as the catalyst for the Shibuya Incident. It is brought to Shibuya by Suguru Geto, in truth the ancient sorcerer Kenjaku inhabiting Geto's corpse, who deems Gojo too powerful to kill. Its activation resulted in the sealing of Japan's strongest sorcerer, fundamentally altering the balance of power between jujutsu sorcerers and curses. During the Culling Game the sorcerers open the Prison Realm with the help of Hana Kurusu, the Angel, and Gojo is freed.

Lore & Background
Jogo is ordered to delay Gojo for twenty minutes in Shibuya Station until Geto arrives with the box. The sight of his dead friend stuns Gojo, and that moment of distraction lets the Prison Realm subdue him. The sealed object strains under Gojo's power from within, so Pseudo-Geto has to stay close and guard it until it stabilizes. Tengen later reveals that they hold the "Back" of the Prison Realm and that the cursed technique of one Culling Game player, Hana Kurusu, is able to open it.
Reader's Guide
The Prison Realm serves as the catastrophic linchpin of the Shibuya Incident arc, functioning less as a traditional weapon and more as a narrative singularity. Its activation fractures the series' power balance: with Gojo sealed, jujutsu society is forced into a desperate scramble against an onslaught it was unprepared to face.
