Plot
The film opens with the Sazer-X playing basketball when a lightning strike hits Earth. They investigate and find a boy named Riki, who claims to have lost his memory but was actually sent by space pirates. Remy alerts the Sazer-X that the giant monster Mecha Giant Beast Bulgario is approaching and destroying buildings; they defeat it. A Bosquito emerges from inside Bulgario, as later explained by Professor Horiguchi. The Bosquito absorb the JustiPowers on Sazer Island, reproduce, and disguise themselves as Justirisers. Riki, tasked by the space pirates to steal the Cosmo Capsules, initially believes Earthlings are the Bosquito and seeks vengeance. He later realizes humanity is innocent and the space pirates deceived him. The Bosquito kill thousands by absorbing them, leaving only their clothes behind. The real Justirisers cannot transform. National Defense builds the Interception Battleship Gouten to invade the Bosquito, and the Type-05 GS Assist Robot Yuuhi is deployed but destroyed. The Justirisers go to Sazer Island and find Mio Tendou unconscious; they recover the JustiPowers. Riki breaks G2, preventing the Sazer-X from transforming. Takuto is taken by the space pirates to the Phantom Ship, where he rescues people from destroyed planets, including Riki's parents.
Soundtrack
The soundtrack for the 2005 feature film combines characters from the three Star God shows into a single storyline. Most of the music consists of extended themes from the Super Fleet Sazer-X show rather than a completely original score. Hiroshi Takagi composed some unique music for the movie, but it is sparse. The music uses a similarly limited-size orchestra as the show, lacking a grander sound expected for a feature film. Notable cues include 'The Terrible Beast Appears!', which conveys a serial-like mentality for the monster's appearance, and 'Large Pinch!', the most interesting cue from the show, also used in the movie. The disc includes recycled themes from previous Toho works, such as the shorter version of 'Life Goes On' from The Gransazers (2003) and the title song from The Justirisers (2004). Akira Ifukube's 'Gotengo Theme' from the original film Atragon (1963) also appears.
