Plot

In 2052, the planet Gotham faced destruction when a roving black hole threatened its sun. Leader Zytel, a brilliant but authoritarian scientist, revealed the Terror Star, a colossal satellite capable of carrying 200 million Gothamites. Granted absolute power, Zytel led the survivors on a thirty-year search for a new home. Upon reaching Earth, the Gothamites found it suitable for terraforming and dispatched disguised probes. Earth's scientists, examining unusual meteorites, uncovered evidence of alien surveillance. Nine global research centers, N1 to N9, coordinated a response. Dr. Cromwell Collins, head of an oceanographic center affiliated with N1, warned his son Colin before being killed in a Gothamite attack, entrusting him with a glowing pendant and the word 'Thundersub.' As Earth's centers were devastated, Colin and his friends fled toward N1, finding a mute girl named Anna. At N1, Colin's pendant revealed a hidden chamber containing Blue Noah, which activated when he spoke its name. The returning test sub Tempest Jr., piloted by Captain Noah, found the ship. Captain Noah recognized the teens and learned Colin's father had designed Blue Noah; he was also shocked to find Anna, his estranged daughter. The Terror Star's tidal effects killed 90% of Earth's population in a single day. Gothamite forces established sea fortresses to extract heavy water, and Blue Noah began counterattacking, drawing the enmity of the Death Force led by Col. Jrgens.

Blue Noah is a super submarine aircraft carrier with a standard displacement of 170,000 standard tons and a fighter capacity of 150. Closing the starboard and port flight decks allows it to submerge for underwater cruising. It is equipped with a lightwave booster for atmospheric and extra-atmospheric operation. The Tempest Junior mini-submersible is housed in the bow, a large Bison attack helicopter known as 'Rocketcopter' is stowed in the stern, and lower decks serve as a hangar for fighter jets. The Tempest Junior features an anti-gravity drive for away missions. Blue Noah's most powerful weapon is the Anti-Proton Gun, which separates the prow to reveal a massive energy generator. Diverting all shipboard power creates a burst capable of annihilating a target, but leaves systems temporarily offline. Prior to the final assault, extensive modifications enabled repeated use of the Anti-Proton Gun in space without downtime.
