Characters

The story centers on Aya Akabane, a loud protagonist who loves dressing provocatively and has a quick temper. Her friend Konatsu Toro frequently bears the brunt of Aya’s anger, often getting yanked by her ponytail. Konatsu’s best friend, Ai Nanasato, stands out as the most level-headed person around. Asuka Utsunomiya is an enigmatic girl who constantly discusses spiritual matters and seems to have a romantic interest in Aya. Madoka Oowada is an extremely lecherous student prone to wild fantasies and frequent nosebleeds. Kaname Oku works as a teacher at the school but also leads a bosozoku biker gang. Aya’s older sister, Saya Akabane, is a member of that same gang alongside Kaname; despite her sweet, gentle demeanor and perpetual smile, Aya is terrified of her. Minami Kurihashi is a wealthy transfer student who looks down on others, calling them “potato girls,” and insists on being called “Minamin.” She previously lived in France and then Los Angeles before her father’s job brought the family back to Japan. After transferring, she became the school’s health officer and annoyingly refers to Aya as “Aya-cchi.” She also owns an electric toothbrush named “Francois.”
