Viltrum

Viltrum is the home planet of the Viltrumites in the Invincible comics and the center of the Viltrum Empire, the conquering power that sent Nolan Grayson to Earth. Centuries before the story, the empire's enemies created the Scourge Virus, a disease that killed more than 99 percent of the Viltrum population. During the Viltrumite War the Coalition of Planets pursues the retreating Viltrumites to Viltrum, where Mark, Nolan, Thaedus and Space Racer destroy the planet. Thragg later learns that Mark is the grandson of Argall, the former Emperor of Viltrum, which makes Mark, Oliver and Nolan heirs to the empire.
