Hakudoshi
Naraku's child-shaped detachment, born from half of the Infant and destroyed for turning on his maker.
Hakudoshi is one of Naraku's detachments in Inuyasha, calling himself Naraku's essence and eighth detachment. He originates from the Infant: created at Mount Hakurei from flesh Naraku discarded, the Infant was cut in half by a dying monk, and the half left in Kagura's care grew into the body of a child who took the name Hakudoshi, while the other half, holding both his and Naraku's heart, lived on as the Infant. He tames the demon steed Entei before its defeat by Inuyasha, searches for the border between this world and the next where the last Shikon shard lies, and later conspires with the Infant against Naraku, building the demon puppet Moryomaru to protect it. Naraku ultimately destroys Hakudoshi by recalling his demonic wasps, enabling Miroku to consume him with the Wind Tunnel.
