Lore & Background

Natsuki Mogi is introduced as a classmate of Takumi Fujiwara in the original Initial D manga and anime, and she also appears in the 2005 live-action film, where she quickly becomes his love interest. She wants to go on a beach date with Takumi, which prompts Bunta to loan Takumi the AE86 for a race. After Takumi defeats Takeshi Nakazato, Natsuki and Takumi enjoy a beach date. However, her secret life as an escort is revealed when Itsuki sees her with a Mercedes driver coming from a love hotel and tells Takumi that Natsuki is a 'keijou' (escort/compensated dating).

This revelation causes a fight between Takumi and Itsuki. Later, Takumi sees the Mercedes driver drop off Natsuki with a hug. Takumi and Natsuki see each other, but Takumi runs away while Natsuki stands there crying as Takumi drives away. Takumi tearfully drives away, and later calls Ryosuke to accept his offer to join Project D — though in the original canon, Takumi accepts the offer before the breakup, not after.
