Wilbur Shaw

Three-time Indianapolis 500 winner and later president of the Speedway.

Wilbur Shaw (1902-1954) was an American racing driver who won the Indianapolis 500 in 1937, 1939 and 1940, the second driver to win it three times. From 1945 until his death in 1954 he was president of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
