Plot
Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a devotee of Lord Shiva, runs a shop near the Mahakaal temple. He learns that his son Vivek fainted after masturbating all night, having been bullied about his penis size and told that masturbation would enlarge it. School chairman Atal Nath Maheshwari expels Vivek after a video of him masturbating in the school restroom circulates, branding him a sexual deviant. Kanti's friend Pandey Ji, a priest, advises him to leave town as the situation harms their religious image.
The video reaches Kanti's family and neighborhood, leading to public shaming. Kanti prays to Lord Shiva, who appears as a messenger. After a police complaint against Vivek for confronting his bully, the messenger meets them at the station, comforts Vivek, and saves him from two suicide attempts. The messenger tells Kanti that his son did nothing wrong but went too far, blaming the school for reinforcing stigma and lacking sex education.
He advises Kanti to file a case against the school and medical practitioners. Kanti sues the school, chemists, doctor, nurse, janitor, and himself. In court, he argues that Indian culture historically included conversations on sex, citing publications. Pandey Ji asks Kanti to leave his house and shop.
Opposition lawyer Kamini Maheshwari claims Kanti is covering up his son's act. Kanti counters that proper sex education in school would have prevented the misinformation. The messenger gives Kanti indirect advice on continuing the case.

Release
The Central Board of Film Certification advised 20 cuts and an Adults Only certificate, deeming the subject of sex education and religion controversial. The makers wanted a U/A certificate but the film was passed with an Adults Only certificate, no cuts, and 25 modifications. It was theatrically released on 11 August 2023 and premiered on Netflix from 7 October 2023.
