Manoj Damodharan made his directorial debut with Partner, a 2023 Tamil sci-fi crime comedy. The film stars Aadhi Pinisetty, Hansika Motwani, and Yogi Babu, with a supporting cast that includes Pallak Lalwani, Pandiarajan, and Robo Shankar.

Production began in March 2019, marking the directorial debut of Manoj Damodaran, who had apprenticed under A. Sarkunam. Aadhi was cast as the lead, with Hansika Motwani in a role described as not representing the typical Tamil cinema heroine.
