Spider-Man (pinball)
Defeat four villains from the Spider-Man trilogy.
In June 2007, Stern Pinball released Spider-Man, a machine designed by Steve Ritchie. Its theme draws from all three films of Sam Raimi's trilogy, which themselves came from earlier comics and TV shows. Alongside the standard model, a limited "Black" edition of only 500 units was also produced.

Game details
The table challenges players to take down the four villains from the Spider-Man film trilogy: the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, and Venom. Each must be beaten twice to unlock the Battle Royale mode. The playfield is packed with detailed, moving toys tied to each foe. Doctor Octopus uses a magnet to trap the ball, simulating a Fusion Malfunction. The Green Goblin hovers on his glider above Pumpkin Bomb targets. Venom’s ramp zips the ball back to the left flipper. Sandman’s area features a whirlwind of targets and a motorized three-bank in the center. The game also includes a center post between the flippers, a feature not seen since Jack-Bot in 1995. Actor J. K. Simmons, who portrayed J. Jonah Jameson in the films, recorded custom voice lines for the game, including calls for “Extra ball,” “Jackpot,” and “Way to go, kid, you won a free game.”
