David Lee
Double-double machine and All-Star forward who won the 2015 NBA title with the Warriors.
David Lee is an American former NBA forward who spent five seasons with the Golden State Warriors and ended that run as a champion in 2015. A two-time All-Star, he was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2013, the year he became the first Warriors All-Star since Latrell Sprewell in 1997. Lee was known for his scoring efficiency and relentless rebounding, and he led the league in double-doubles that season. Earlier he had starred for the New York Knicks, who drafted him 30th overall in 2005 out of the University of Florida.

Background
Lee was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up there. Naturally left-handed, he learned to play right-handed after breaking his left arm and became close to ambidextrous. He was a McDonald's All American and won the 2001 Slam Dunk competition before joining Billy Donovan's Florida Gators, where he helped win the 2005 SEC tournament. In New York he developed from a bench player into an All-Star, and in 2010 put up 37 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists in a game, a line not seen since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1976. That July he was signed and traded to Golden State.
