Background
A month after the universe was ripped open, Amy and Kif get married, and Fry starts dating Colleen but breaks up with her when he finds she has many other boyfriends. Professor Farnsworth mounts an expedition to the anomaly; a military action against what lies beyond costs Kif his life. Fry falls in love with a colossal tentacled monster from the other side of the tear, which spreads its tentacles everywhere and asks everyone in the universe out on a date, until Earth's population leaves to live on its body.
Meanwhile Bender joins the secret robot society of his dreams and, left in charge of the abandoned robots on Earth, takes drastic measures to bring everyone back; the monster brings Kif back to life. The title refers to the euphemism "the beast with two backs".
