Background

The Planet Express crew has to deliver a package to Chapek 9, a planet of human-hating robots who kill humans on sight, so Bender is sent down alone. He is captured when the robots learn he works for humans, and Fry and Leela disguise themselves as robots to infiltrate the robot society. They find that Bender, tired of feeling unappreciated by his crew, has made himself an idol among the robots.

Fry and Leela are captured, but Bender refuses to kill his friends, and they learn that the planet's government uses humans as a scapegoat to distract its population from a lug nut shortage. As the three escape, Bender drops the forgotten package on the robots chasing them; it is full of lug nuts, and the robots renounce their human-hating ways.
