Background
Young musician Ben Stockton is abducted after flashing lights hypnotize his father. The team finds that similar victims were geniuses working on an unfinished equation, and Walter returns to St. Claire's Hospital to question his old bunkmate, the mathematician Dashiell Kim; the hospital administrator holds Walter there. Olivia and Peter find the boy, but the kidnapper, Joanne Ostler, escapes with the completed formula, which she gives to Mitchell Loeb.
