Pouligny-Saint-Pierre cheese
A pyramidal goats'-milk cheese from central France with AOC status.
Pouligny-Saint-Pierre is a French goats'-milk cheese from the Indre department, first made in the 18th century in the commune of Pouligny-Saint-Pierre. Its pyramidal shape, golden-brown exterior with grey-blue mould, and bright white, crumbly pâte give it the nicknames 'Eiffel Tower' or 'Pyramid'. It is made exclusively from unpasteurised milk.
