History
The club was founded in 1991 as F.C. INAX Soccer Club at the Saga Plant of Kyushu INAX, a subsidiary of INAX. Starting in the fifth division of the Saga Prefectural League, they reached the first division within five years. In 1997 the club changed its name to Kyushu INAX Soccer Club. They debuted in the Emperor's Cup in 1999, losing to Josai University in the opening match. By 2025 they had participated in the Emperor's Cup twelve times. In 2000 they won their first prefectural league championship and finished second in the Kyushu Prefectural League Finals, earning promotion to the Kyushu League without a play-off due to NTT Kumamoto FC's promotion to the JFL. They spent three seasons in the Kyushu League from 2001 to 2003, finishing 7th, 9th, and 11th, and were relegated back to the Saga Prefectural League. After relegation they won the prefectural title in 2004 but lost to FC Ryukyu in the second round of the prefectural league finals. In 2005 they won back-to-back titles but lost in the first round of the finals to the Kumamoto Prefectural Teachers' Kicking Brigade. In 2006 they missed a third straight title, losing to Kawazoe Club. That same year they achieved their first Emperor's Cup victory, defeating Kashiwa Reysol U-18 in the opening round of the 85th Emperor's Cup. In 2007 they won the prefectural league again and triumphed in the Kyushu prefectural league finals, returning to the Kyushu League after five seasons. In 2009 they won the Kyushu qualifiers and debuted in the All-Japan Adult Football Championship, winning against Sagawa Express Chugoku and FC Korea before losing to AC Nagano Parceiro in the quarterfinals. On July 1, 2011, the team's name was officially changed to Saga LIXIL FC following a rebranding in April of that year.
