Plot
Metropolitan psychologist-linguist Sergei Pshenichny, played by Sergey Koltakov, quarrels with his father on ideological grounds. He later meets former mining engineer Andrei Nemchinov, played by Ivan Bortnik, who recently returned from prison, at a concert by the rock band Nautilus Pompilius. After the concert, they climb over a park fence to see a film shoot about the post-war time, but hit a cable and are transported to the late 1940s. Every morning is May 8, 1949, and they relive the same day repeatedly. Sergei meets his younger parents, his mother pregnant with him, and Andrei meets his ten-year-old self. The loop eventually breaks and they return to the present.
