Monster Maulers
Three heroes battle giant monsters unleashed by the Happy Droppers.
Monster Maulers, called Kyukyoku Sentai Dadandarn in Japan, is a 1993 Konami arcade fighting game. Players battle giant enemies one-on-one, with some foes borrowed from other Konami games like Gradius. In two-player mode, teammates can combine for secret special moves.

Characters
Kotetsu, a fighter from Japan, serves as the balanced-type character. Anne, a martial artist from England, combines speed and skill. Eagle, a pro-wrestler from America in the original version (his origin is unknown in the Japanese version), is the power-type character. Dragon is a giant dragon that changes colors to match elements—red for fire, white for ice, and blue for lightning—for his breath attacks; he blocks attacks to his head with his elf-fins, and his stage is a cave in Norway featuring a visible statue of Baphomet. Diablo, called Furaiki in Japan, is a Chinese storm demon who uses elemental powers such as fireballs and a spinning tornado kick, with his stage set in a pagoda in China. Spider Wort, known as Hydrante in Japan, is a carnivorous plant that eats opponents, located in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil. Moai is a living Easter Island head with a torso and arms, using punches, ripple lasers, and the ability to deflect energy blasts, fighting in an underground temple in Brazil. Serpent, called Mother in Japan, is a snake-like collection of organs whose stage is a gory biological area in Kenya. Brainy, known as Brain Golem in Japan, is a floating brain with tentacles and a bulging eye; he grabs and throws opponents, fires laser beams and energy balls from his eye, and appears in a gory biological area in Kenya. Ducker is a walking robot piloted by Mr. Chin, the mad scientist of the Happy Droppers, attacking with a flamethrower and kicks on top of the Happy Droppers ship. Robo-Ape, called Mecha Gorilla in Japan, is a giant robot gorilla piloted by Garuga, the strong brute of the Happy Droppers, fighting like a gorilla with swinging punches and missiles inside the Happy Droppers ship's factory.
