Reader's Guide
In the world of Fate/Stay Night, a Reality Marble represents the peak of magecraft capability. It is not merely a spell but a manifestation of the caster's soul and ideals made tangible. Unlike standard magic circles that manipulate existing energy, this ability rewrites local reality to match the user's internal landscape. Only mages with an exceptionally strong concept or foundation can achieve this feat.
The most famous example involves the projection of countless weapons into a sky filled with blades. Activating such a domain consumes vast amounts of magical energy and often places immense strain on the caster's life force. During the Holy Grail War, possessing one grants a strategic advantage by controlling the battlefield environment. However, it also reveals the user's true nature to those who can perceive magic.
Understanding this concept is key to grasping why certain characters hold such overwhelming power over others in their personal domains.
