Singularity
The abnormalities in history that the Holy Grails sustain.
In Fate/Grand Order the Holy Grails, which can grant any wish, are able to sustain abnormalities called Singularities that threaten humanity's existence. Chaldea sends Ritsuka through each Singularity by Rayshift, and once they are completed Ritsuka is awarded the rank of Cause by the Mages Association.
Lore & Background
In the final Singularity the Servants who assisted Ritsuka appear, allowing Chaldea to defeat Solomon, revealed to be the Demon God Goetia; with Goetia's defeat the final Singularity is restored and Mash is revived through Beast IV, revealed to be Fou. Epic of Remnant then detects a new kind of Singularity, dubbed Sub-Singularities, which Ritsuka is again tasked with handling.
