Background
On honeymoon in Havana, Dom wins a race against the loan shark Raldo to free his cousin Fernando from a debt. The next day the cyberterrorist Cipher coerces him into working for her by showing him something on her phone. When DSS agent Luke Hobbs recruits Dom's team for an off-the-books mission to retrieve an EMP device from a military outpost in Berlin, Dom steals the device for Cipher. Hobbs is jailed alongside Deckard Shaw, and Mr. Nobody breaks both out to help the team find Dom. Deckard reveals that Cipher had hired his brother Owen to steal the Nightshade EMP weapon and Mose Jakande to steal God's Eye.
