Fusion Core
A fusion core is a type of ammunition in Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, also appearing in the Fallout TV series and Fallout Shelter. Standardized fusion cores are high-grade, long-term nuclear batteries used for military and commercial applications before the Great War. Civilians used them to power devices such as automobiles and generators, while the military used them for power armor and some Gatling laser models. Cores can be set to overload for use as improvised explosives or to destroy a power armor suit.
