The Three Little Pigs' Construction Guild

Lore & Background

Over time, their work has expanded beyond simple residential homes to include reinforcing community centers and safe houses for vulnerable Fables. Their methods blend traditional craftsmanship with modern technology available in the Human world. This unique combination ensures that while their structures look contemporary, they possess a resilience born from centuries of folklore wisdom.

Reader's Guide

The primary goal of this trade group is to ensure safe housing for all residents within Fabletown's borders. Their leadership is informal but typically centers on Fifer Pig, who coordinates projects and liaises with the Community Council regarding zoning and safety standards. Their methods involve rigorous inspections and a refusal to cut corners, often rejecting materials that do not meet their high durability thresholds. This sometimes causes friction with budget-conscious clients, but they maintain that safety is non-negotiable in a world where wolves still hunt. In the broader conflict against the Adversary's forces, their role becomes strategic. They fortify key locations and create hidden bunkers for refugees fleeing the war zones. By securing the physical infrastructure of Fabletown, they provide a stable foundation upon which the political and magical resistance can operate without fear of immediate structural collapse.
