Old Town

Harran's second district, reached through the sewers.

Old Town is the second area of Harran in Dying Light. The Slums can be explored freely from the start, and Old Town is added later, accessible via the sewers; both are urban environments overrun by zombies and built for parkour.

Lore & Background

The Embers, a survivor group in Old Town, help Crane try to alert the outside world when he learns the Defence Ministry plans to firebomb Harran; they set off bombs in an apartment building in the shape of a sad face, which a jet's missile obscures. Techland modelled Harran on Mumbai and Istanbul, and the Old Town on Wrocław, Poland, where the studio is based.
