Did You Know?
- Raúl Martínez, a Segunda B player for Valencia's farm team, had a far higher ingame basic rating (72) than other players in the category and could be sold for any release clause.

Gameplay
The software was divided into eleven sections, including instructions, history, database, monitoring, manual monitoring, online update, Infofútbol, friendly match, Liga manager, Liga promanager, and Proquinielas. All teams from La Liga, Segunda División, and for the first time Segunda División B were featured, totaling 122 teams in Manager and Promanager modes. Teams from the UEFA Champions League, Cup Winners' Cup, and UEFA Cup (excluding those eliminated in qualifying rounds) and a selection of South American teams were playable in friendly matches. The Manager mode let the player control a single Primera, Segunda, or Segunda B team, while Promanager was a password-protected career mode starting with lower-ranked Segunda B teams, unlocking higher teams as objectives were met. Both modes offered four approaches: coach, manager, chairman, or all three. Matches could be played (Arcade), watched (Visionado), or have results displayed via scoreboards (Resultado). A mobile-camera 3D engine was introduced for the first two modes, though players remained 2D models. Keyboard or joystick supported local multiplayer, and up to 20 teams could be used per save slot. Michael Robinson and Chus del Río provided narration.
Release
Originally scheduled for October 1996, the ambitious scope delayed production to December. Part of the software was adapted into Gremlin Interactive's Premier Manager 97, released in November in the United Kingdom. The full software was completed in December for a January 1997 release, timed for the Reyes Magos celebration. It sold 305,000 copies in Spain.
