Cacodemon
A floating sphere of rage that rains fire from the skies.
The Cacodemon is a floating, spherical demon that appears as an enemy in the Doom video game series, starting with the first game in 1993. It is depicted as a horned (or winged browed) youth with oversized genitalia trailing between his legs in Greek mythology, but the Doom version is a floating, one-eyed creature. The word cacodemon comes through Latin from the Ancient Greek κακοδαίμων kakodaimōn, meaning an "evil spirit," and is believed to be capable of shapeshifting. In the Doom series, it serves as an iconic early-game threat.
