Cast

Demi Lovato portrayed Charlotte Adams in the first season, the main female character. In the episode Ladder Dudes, Danny asks Charlotte out and she agrees; their mutual feelings are frequently shown, though neither admits them. Charlotte moves away at the end of season one because Lovato was filming Camp Rock and starring in the Disney Channel series Sonny with a Chance. Danny shares a shy romantic connection with Charlotte, often crushing on her and seeking her help.

He is the most normal of the three boys and best friends with Skipper and Toejam; his talents include singing and songwriting. In season two, after Charlotte's departure, he meets Lexi, a girl he knew from childhood, and it is revealed he has had a crush on her since second grade. Toejam and Brooke share a romantic dynamic, often nudged by Tiffany, as both are shy. In one episode, Toejam defends Brooke from a school bully.

When Brooke changes her image and tries to cancel a study date, Toejam tries to change his own image to match hers, but she returns to her old self.
