Hannah McKay

Hannah McKay, played by Yvonne Strahovski, appears in the seventh and eighth seasons of Dexter. She is introduced in season 7, episode 3, "Buck the System", as the former accomplice of the spree killer Wayne Randall, and becomes romantically involved with Dexter Morgan.

At 15 she went on a three-state killing spree with her boyfriend Randall; she pleaded guilty to being his accomplice, spent six years in juvenile detention and received immunity after agreeing to testify against him. A serial poisoner, she spikes Debra's water with an overdose of Xanax, causing a near-fatal car crash, and Dexter finally gives Debra proof that Hannah murdered the crime writer Sal Price. In season 8 Dexter plans to start a new life with her and Harrison in Argentina; she is last seen with Harrison at a cafe in Buenos Aires. Between the original series and Dexter: New Blood she dies of pancreatic cancer.
