Lore & Background
Tragically, Yui's attempts to shield Kenji from the world led to his demise, a loss she could not bear. Consumed by an overwhelming sense of guilt and a distorted desire to 'care' for him one last time, she became consumed by the Entity. Her spirit was bound to the realm, transformed into The Caretaker. She now wanders the foggy trials, her spectral hands reaching out to those who have lost their way, driven by a twisted maternal instinct that sees all Survivors as children needing protection through confinement.
