Question Team
Comedy panel show where guests set their own questions.
Question Team was a British comedy panel show hosted by Richard Ayoade. It aired on Dave from 12 October 2021 until its cancellation in 2023. The programme reversed the usual panel show structure: each episode featured three different comedians, and each brought their own round of questions on a specialist topic of their choice. The other guests and Ayoade had to answer these questions, often using props, people, or the studio’s large screen. After the three guests presented their rounds, Ayoade handed his own round over to a fourth comedian. Topics ranged widely, from DIY to animation. Rounds were scored out of five points, and the episode’s winner received a mystery prize in a manila envelope, plus a Question Team-branded bomber jacket and either a travel mug (first series) or a tote bag (second series). The first series aired at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays; the second series moved to 10 p.m. on Mondays. A YouTube spin-off, *Question Team: Interrogations*, accompanied the second series, in which comedians Abi Clarke and Huge Davies quizzed upcoming guests on their chosen topic before the show.
