A wall of solid ecto-energy - Danny's and Vlad's main defence.

Background
Skilled users like Vlad shape their shields into bubbles that briefly trap a human or half-ghost, and some shields reflect blasts back like a mirror. Other ghosts have their own versions: an ice shield from a ghost with cold powers, or Technus's electric shield that shocks whoever touches it. Fenton Works, the Guys in White and Valerie use shield generators that work the same way, can hold ghosts in place and can even stop a half-ghost from changing into ghost form. A strong enough attack - from Danny, Dark Danny or the Hydra - breaks a shield, and Wulf can drill through a generated one with his claws.
