Individual judges' scores in the charts are listed in the order Craig Revel Horwood, Sharna Burgess, Tristan MacManus, unless indicated otherwise. Couples performed one unlearned dance to their favourite song, listed in the order they performed. They also performed one unlearned dance to celebrate the most memorable year of their lives, again in performance order. Each couple performed one unlearned Latin routine, listed in performance order.

Week 6: Dance-Off

Later, each couple performed one unlearned dance and then a team dance, with couples listed in the order they performed. Grant Denyer did not appear as co-host; he was absent due to being in hospital, and Denise Scott filled in for him. In a subsequent week, each couple performed one unlearned dance; the couple with the highest score earned immunity from elimination and five additional points, while the rest participated in dance-offs for additional points.

Week 7: Judges' Team-up Challenge

For each dance-off, the couple with the highest remaining score picked their opponent, who chose the dance style from samba, cha-cha-cha, or jive; the winner earned three additional points. That week, individual judges' scores were listed in the order Craig Revel Horwood, Bindi Irwin, Sharna Burgess, Tristan MacManus. Grant Denyer did not appear for the second week in a row due to being in hospital; Scott Tweedie filled in for him. Each couple then performed one unlearned dance and teamed up with another couple and one of the judges for a second routine; each judge designed and coached their team and performed with them, while the two non-performing judges and guest judge Bindi Irwin scored the routine.

Week 8: Trio Night

Judges' votes to save were: Horwood voted for Jimmy & Alexandra, Burgess voted for Jimmy & Alexandra, and MacManus did not vote but would have voted to save Jimmy & Alexandra. On April 8, 2019, it was announced a few hours before the show that Jimmy Rees had voluntarily withdrawn from the competition for personal reasons, resulting in no additional elimination. Grant Denyer did not appear for the third week in a row due to being hospitalized; Denise Scott filled in for him a second time. Couples were listed in the order they performed.
