Background
Stories devoted to Anigouran depict adventures in which his intelligence and cunning allow him to escape difficult situations. They also portray his rivalry with his nephew Adelasegh, whose great intelligence causes Anigouran's jealousy, leading him to attempt to kill Adelasegh several times, though they eventually reconcile. At a time when Adelasegh and his sister were captured by bandits and Anigouran decided to reconcile, he could not trace them. He engraved on desert rocks a coded Tifinagh message that only Adelasegh and his sister could decode, showing them the way back to his camp.
