Lore & Background
The Beer Can is a parody of Budweiser in the original game. In the remake Conker: Live & Reloaded, the label was changed to a parody of Bawls energy drink due to legal concerns.
In Their Own Story
Conker stumbled into the dimly lit pub, his fur matted with sweat. The bartender, a gruff weasel, slid a cold Beer Can across the counter. 'On the house, mate. You look like you need it.' Conker cracked it open, foam spilling onto his paw. He took a long swig, feeling the warmth spread through his chest, then the floor tilt. The room began to spin, but he didn't care. He had a debt to pay, a queen to save, and a hangover to earn—one that would hit harder than any boss fight.
Reader's Guide
When Conker uses a Beer Can, he becomes drunk. This state is not used to walk across a tightrope in the 'It's War' chapter; the tightrope segment there requires Conker to be sober, as drunkenness causes him to fall off.
Did You Know?
- The Beer Can's label in the original Conker's Bad Fur Day parodies Budweiser.
- In Conker: Live & Reloaded, the Beer Can label was changed to parody Bawls energy drink, not a generic design.
