1993 Chicago White Sox season

94 wins, the last AL West title before the move to the Central.

The 1993 Chicago White Sox, in the club's 94th season, finished 94–68 and won the American League West on September 27, eight games ahead of the second-place Texas Rangers. They lost the American League Championship Series in six games to the eventual World Series champion Toronto Blue Jays. It was the last year the Sox competed in the AL West; they joined the newly formed AL Central in 1994. Frank Thomas was the unanimous AL Most Valuable Player, becoming the first White Sox player to hit 40 home runs as he led the team to its first division crown in ten years.
