From Decatur Staleys to Chicago Bears: a 1922 renaming tied to Wrigley Field.

The Decatur Staleys were sold to George Halas, who transferred the team to Chicago in 1921 and moved the games to Cubs Park (now Wrigley Field). In 1922, the team was renamed the Chicago Bears in order to associate themselves with their landlords.
